Perspective

After a run the other day, I saw a squirrel on the very top of a light pole. He was sitting, back straight, looking around like he was on the top of the world, debating where he should go from there. After laughing to myself at the picture of it, I immediately thought of how God has a similar view as the squirrel’s. He has a much clearer viewpoint than our own. His perspective details the entire picture of our lives, when we might only be able to see a few feet, a few hours, or a few days in front of us. Whatever your life looks like right now, I hope you let yourself rest in the fact that God is watching, and He knows the outcome. We don’t have to have all the answers, we just have to take a few steps at a time, and if we let Him, God will guide us where He wants us for His perfect timing. And when you look back, you’ll see His detail in every situation.
