Hazards

I’ve run by this spot a lot over the past few weeks and can’t help but wonder who the person was that marked it. I’m not sure if they were running or biking and hit that spot that might have caused them to stumble, or if they were just watching out for others without a reason. Whatever the case, I love that someone came before me and took the time to point out hazards in the road so I would see the danger ahead. They wanted to make sure the least amount of people would be injured or caught off guard from that spot as they could.

Have you ever had someone in your life who helped you through a difficult situation? Or shared their story that relates to something you were going through or questioning and pointed you in the right direction? Someone who took the time to support you and share their wisdom with you? Those people who have traveled the road ahead of you and are there to help point out the hazards along the way?

God created us to do life with each other, not to keep things to ourselves. We each have a story that can help someone else. Who are you taking with you? And take a second this week to thank the people who have traveled the road with you. 😊

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” -Philippians 2:3-4
