Redeemed

Have you ever run in crazy wind? I had a few weeks where almost all my runs were in 15-25 mph winds. Let me just say, it’s not my favorite 😂 But as I was running, it hit me how something that feels like a brick wall is not only strengthening me through resistance in the process, but it turns into my biggest propeller in the opposite direction. We all face challenges, whether in work or in our personal life, and they can feel so difficult while we’re going through them. However, they’re strengthening you in the process, and once through it, when faced with that challenge again, your prior experience will become your greatest propeller. You will know how to navigate, are better prepared to overcome the challenge, and you will also be able to support those around you who are dealing with it for the first time. In the same context, God is a REDEEMER. Whatever you’ve done that makes you think you’re unworthy or unable to lead or strengthen others, God REDEEMS. What the devil meant for evil and keeping you silent, God can use for good. He can use that same thing as the propeller to impact others who might think they’re the only ones struggling in that area. Those who might think there’s no coming back from it. As a believer, God has REDEEMED you, and He wants to use your story to lead others to the same outcome.

“I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.” -Isaiah 44:22

Amen! Nice analogy with the wind. God is the only redeemer. And our trials are his way of strengthening us so we will be able to share His message.
